Summary
In this study, we aim to investigate the role of vascular smooth muscle cell (VSMC) NFATc3 in the development of AAD and establish NFATc3 as a novel target to treat AAD. We used VSMC-specific NFATc3 knockout mice in AAD model of BAPN treatment. The molecular mechanisms underlying NFATc3 function were investigated using RNA-seq analysis on aortas with BAPN treatment.
