Summary
RNA sequencing was performed on RNA samples from endometrial cancers from patients who participated in two different abemaciclib combination clinical trials. For a subset of patients, we also generated genomic DNA from the tumor samples and performed whole exome sequencing. The goal was to determine if the tumors had functional or dysfunctional RB using different transcriptional signatures and then to determine if the RB functional status of the tumor could predict patient response to the CDK4/6 inhibitor in the clinical trial.
