Summary
Forsythoside I (FI), a representative caffeoyl phenylethanoid glycoside isolated from Forsythia suspensa, has been previously validated to exert anti-inflammatory and anticancer effects. Nevertheless, research regarding its potential role in cardiovascular diseases, particularly pathological cardiac hypertrophy, and the underlying molecular mechanisms ‌remains‌ largely unknown.
